I bought my hummer without the power windows or locks working, i replaced the drivers side power switch, all was good for about a month then the power windows stopped working so I bought another one and everything worked again for about a month and now the power locks stopped working. Could it be because of buying aftermarket? I really hate to spend 300.00 for the oem especially if that might not be the issue. Id there a "good" aftermarket", something im missing?

When you buy a cheap foreign made part, the good feeling of saving money lasts only so long as the irritation of having to buy that same cheap part enough times to have bought the best part the first time and never do it again. Those "cheap" aftermarket parts are what disreputable used car sales lots buy to get whatever it is working long enough for some buyer to vacate the area, then it isn't their problem any more.
Measure the voltage at the connector to the master switch, carefully inspect the wiring harness to the switch for damage, cracks etc.... Check the fuse block to make sure it is the correct amps for the circuit. If that is all good, your cheap parts are just cheap parts. Buy OEM.

You wouldn't by chance be losing battery power would you? Because that is exactly what my gf's old 06 Hummer would do after battery ran down. Then I'd tear into it and disconnect just like you and ta'da back working. Start check for power/ground IMO.
