OK, glad to find this post as well. I'm having similar problems. Di d you get your new BCM through the dealer? Is there a good place to get one? I'm having the same symptoms.

Yes, then a tech2, solus, modis, or DS708 is required to flash it to your theft system.

OK, Thanks. I am interested in yours but have to check with a shop I normally use to see if they can handle the flashing portion and if not, I have to verify that my dealer will allow me to supply my own BCM. Warning - I am not the fatest guy to get things fixed. I have another vehicle I can drive during the night time in the meantime, so I am not rushed to fix this and like I said, I am tiresomely slow. I will check back with you before I do anything and let you know one way of another. Thanks again.

It's a new sealed unit in a new GM Box. there would be zero difference than if they ordered it, they would have to accept it.

Jayson, I'm interested. I had my shop verify that my problem is the BCM and they said they would accept a new GM unit, sealed and in the box. What is the Part Number you have? Do you still have it? Would you accept PayPal?

I guess you can't edit your previous posts.
I needed to get my vehicle back and into use, so I sucked it up and just paid the price for a new BCM from my shop. Thanks for the offer. Sorry, timing did not work out in both of our favors. I've got this one taken care of.

Well, for others, Replacing the BCM and having it re-flashed did the trick. Too bad this isn't something you can't do it yourself.
