Default Installed Stereo Now H3 Won't Start???

Hi everyone, I apologize my first post is a plea for help but here goes...

The 6 disc head unit in my 08' H3 Adventure with 82K stopped working, it comes on but there is no sound.
I Install a generic stereo replacement using the correct Crux interface (no factory wires cut) for the vehicle, disconnecting the battery before before the swap.
Reconnected the battery and the new stereo works great.
But when I try to start the Hummer, it ran for a few seconds and then dies.
Now, it just turns over without starting.
So I re-installed the old radio "just to see" but the engine still just cranks without starting.
When the ignition is on, the engine light is solid and doesn't go out...but there are no stored codes.

So my question is, what could I have done to cause this? Before now my H3 was rock solid reliable. The stereo install was very straight forward and easy.

I'm familiar with the infamous Passlock issue with these vehicles (in part thanks to this forum) BUT the Passlock light is NOT blinking, it stays solid and doesn't go out.
I thought that it was only an issue with Passlock if the light blinked, mine is on solid.

Can Passlock be a problem even if it's not blinking?
Could messing with the harnesses when installing the radio trigger something else?

It just seems odd the H3 ran fine until I switched the head unit.

Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can provide.

Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? They are THE first mod to do to every H3/H3T. When they are connected/diconnected a few times, they do not make proper connections causing voltage fluctuations and a ton electrical Gremlins. Once overtightened they fail, always and every time.

Properly reconnect the Battery.

Thanks to one of your posts from way back on the Passlock Doc the battery terminals was the first things I tried, unfortunately it didn't work for this.

Well that's an interesting dilemma. Retrace your steps. There must be something missed. If not it is one he!L of a coincidence.
