Default 2006 H3 3.5L in Miami

Back in Miami with the 2006 H3 3.5L.
I dropped off the H3 at the shop. Did a bumper to bumper vehicle inspection with the tech. This was why we found that needed fixing
1. Fuel Pump
2. Power Steering pump
3. Rack and Pinion
4. o2 Sensor (removed siezed sensor)
5. Thermostat (no thermostat)
6. PVC Valve
7. 5-Coils
8. Wheel Alignment
Total job labor and parts $2,100.00
The cool thing is that mechanic got the o2 sensor out!!!
No one wanted to fix the o2 sensor.
A mechanic told me that I had to replace the exhaus manifold and the cat. Wanted $1,400 to do the work.

Thank you all for your time and interest with my H3 3.5L.

Regards.

Just from the fact he said PCV valve (I5s don't have one). I would be leery of every other item on this "mechanics" list.

1. Fuel Pump why? leaking, rotted lines, pressure test done, etc.
2. Power Steering pump why? Leaking, whining/groaning, etc.
3. Rack and Pinion why? Leaking, excessive movement (could be the clamp, known issue), etc.
4. o2 Sensor (removed siezed sensor)
5. Thermostat (no thermostat) How did the "mechanic" come to find this out? remove the housing?
6. PVC Valve no PCV calve on the I5 H3s
7. 5-Coils Why all 5 coils? Also weird no plus but all the coils.
8. Wheel Alignment Always a good thing

The t-stat is built into the housing, right? If no t-stat, then it must not be an OEM-style housing, or else someone took the time and effort to remove it. Overheating problems?
