Default MAP sensor prices?

The prices seem to be all over the place, anywhere from $10- to over a hundred for what seems to be the same part. What am I missing here?

Lol because of my last thread. I pulled it, spayed it with MAF cleaner and replaced it. Very little difference so possibly it’s just shot?

thanks for the link

Did you check for a break in the wires as noted?
inspect all MAP sensor circuits for being broken inside of the insulation near the MAP sensor connector.Typically, the break will be within inches of the MAP sensor connector. If a broken circuit is isolated, follow SI wire repair procedures and re-evaluate the concern.

I wasn’t sure how to check for circuits but I did check continuity as best I could along the wires that exit the plug. I tried to get it to fail (idle rough) when it was idling smoothly without a change.

check engine light comes on after it’s been running (with codes cleared) after re-start.

symptoms are a little better- truck runs smoothly after a highway run.

still getting P0106 and P0017 codes however it definitely “settles down” from running roughly at idle.

this is the best it’s run so far

Forgot to mention I also changed spark plugs while under the hood (couldn’t hurt at 95k mi) with OEM and cleaned/inspected coil wires for obvious damage, cleaned all pins/contacts with electrical cleaner.

Another question if you would;

I replaced the crankshaft sensor and attempted a manual (driving) re-learn. My scanner isn’t capable of doing that, does disconnecting the battery do anything in the way of a relearn?

thanks for the help
