Default Im at a loss

Hey guys, I really need some help. I own a 2008 Hummer H3 luxury trim line with the 3.7L engine. My transmission will not shift INTO park!!..While driving I have no issue going into any other gear, just park. So far I have replaced these Items with AC Delco replacement parts. The automatic shifter linkage cable, the rubber grommet, the "clutch" lever , and the shift interlock solenoid. I am even having trouble getting into park while pressing the shifter reset button....My head tells me this has to be something simple since the drive gears all function normally, but what? I am no mechanic, I have a few friends who are but also seem stumped by this. Any thoughts, Advice, or ideas are greatly appreciated. I've already spent a ton in other repairs (transfer case fork, full brake job, intake manifold gasket, starter, tensioner, lol and tires...jesus, tires. Id prefer to discover and fix the issue rather than continue to throw parts at it..

FIRST CHOCK THE WHEELS!
Go under then disconnect the shifter cable at the transmission.
Get back in & check shifter P-R-N-D-3-2-1 positions also on the dash.
After verifying shifter is in the park position go back under then move the lever on the PRNDL switch to connect the shifter cable.
