My 2006 Hummer H3 has a loose driver’s door mirror. How do I tighten it?

 

Assuming you are referring to looseness between the base and the mirror frame......... Pick up some 2 inch industrial strength VELCRO. Cut a strip of the “softer” hook material long enough to allow a good grip of the ends with both hands. Peel the backing and force the strip as far as possible between the base and the mirror frame. Carefully trim the excess with a razor blade. All of the mirrors on both of my H3’s were loose. I did this years ago and they are still nice and firm. Good luck!

 

I would have never thought of that for a solution. If I can’t tighten up a bolt I might try it. Thanks
