Default I don’t know why I get no power!

2007 hummer h3 . So I had problems with the C2 bcm connector where if I push on it I get lights on the dash for few seconds then it goes away. I thought it was the connector so I went and got a new connector from junk yard and rewired all the wires. it’s doing the exact same thing!!! Is it possible that my bcm itself is bad!?

any suggestions or ideas ?

try spraying deoxit or Crc electronics cleaner in the connector. If not you could have bad solder joints.

you know hat I discovered last night I was checking the holes in the connector. Some holes the needle go in good distance and some needles it doesn’t go that far, do you think maybe the pins on the connector need to be realigned ? Or maybe it shifted so it’s not making good connection? I should be able to disassemble the connector and realign them right ?

Yes you can. Happens when people force stuff together instead of carefully lining up every pin.
