Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Anyone know a current source for these? I was looking a few months ago since the rubber flappers in mine are all shot and they were still available, but everything now shows out of stock. Trying to cut down on the amount of dust that makes its way inside the back door when I'm off-roading in the desert SW.
It is also to allow air to vent OUT when you run the fan which actually pressurizes the cabin when windows are closed.
Exactly! They are found on every single vehicle made/sold, at least in America. It is part of obscure Federal requirements for ventilation. They can usually be found behind the rear bumper end cap on most vehicles.
Buy yourself a rubber sheet: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/rubber-sheets/ Cut out a square the size of the vent. make some 3 sided cutouts for the flaps so they'll flex out when under pressure and close to keep bugs/dirt out when not under pressure. Project complete.
Check that out! Hummerz' truck is AWD, and so is his lawn mower!
10yrs old and still works great. However, my new home has a huge grade down the sides and to the back. I recently added a 6 Speed, now easier/faster for me to cut the lawn. My wife doesn't like the YM, so I have to keep the CM. After 40yrs together, I know what to do!(She-shed)
