Hey All,

I'm looking to install hood pins for my 2006 Hummer H3. I plan on installing them in the holes used for the hood bumpers. Anyone ever install these? I'm trying to determine what size pins I'll need.

You'd be the first..... and there is a reason for that.

Why would you reason to do that?

 

At extremely high speeds they keep the hood from flying up.

 

Like Doc Olds said= It will be the only H3 with HOOD PINS

 

Backup for when you drive over factory tested top speed or modify the hood.

 

Hey btothed, I think the location you selected is a great spot. Keep us updated on how it turns out! I'm considering hood pins to use with a custom grill I plan to make (since I will be "eliminating" access to the hood release lever). I haven't decided for sure, though.
