I have a 2008 Hummer H3 that has 216,000miles on it. I have already put a new transmission in it at 162,000 miles. It looks like I need another one and not sure if it would be worth the money. If I was to sell it as is what do you think it is worth? Everything else is good in it.

Values are at Kelley Blue Book. What does that say? You need to know which Model H3 you have (Base, Adventure, LUX, Off Road Lux). With a fried AT, not much, with a rebuilt functioning transmission, a lot more.

I would never replace a Transmission when a rebuild can be done.

 

 

About 2-4 k on fb market place. At least that has been what I've be seeing for weeks and months on end. Been looking for H3 for awhile. Hard to find that elusive gem. Lots of chit boxes. Not implying yours is one lol.

 

Yup, I'd never buy a vehicle that I couldn't test drive. No telling what the actual problem(s) are (as opposed to what the owner claims).
