Same way you remove any other emblem, badge, moniker stuck on the surface of the paint with double back 3M tape.

Heat it up with a hair dryer (heat gun is better but they cab get hot enough to bubble paint so use caution), grab an edge and pull it off while heating. Then use 3M adhesive remover to get off any remaining residue, clean and polish the area followed by wax. It is going to take some work and elbow grease. I have removed the "H3" badges from the doors of my 07 & 09 the same way.

Some people use heat and then some heavy monofilament fishing line to get behind the badge and work the line back and forth like dental floss to remove it.

Heat probably helps but I've always used fishing line. Put your gloves on, wrap line around fingers and saw it off starting from the edge. I use Naptha (cause it wont hurt the paint if don't leave it on too long, but it will take the wax off) for cleaning the left over glue off painted surface. Remember to reapply a good coat of wax to the painted surface after cleanup.
