yeah.. it have been running fine until this last sunday.. Started over heating and noticed its not cutting on with high temps.. But it cuts on with the heat or ac on..

You should ask the PCMofNC people. If yours is not turning on by coolant temp, and you have an 06/07 with the sensor in the CNC aluminum fitting in the lower radiator hose (which seems to me you are telling us you do), then yes, I would suspect a bad sensor. You could ask PCMofNC their thoughts, and get the specifics on brand and part # for the sensor. It should be low cost item, and pretty easy to swap out.

You could also try cleaning the connectors (male & female) to the sensor to see if maybe there is corrosion breaking the contact, it is basically a switch, which throws on at a set heat level.
