Default High output alternator and battery cable upgrades

I have a 06 H3 I was wanting to find a h/o alternator for it and was wanting to put bigger battery cables in as well. I have seen a bunch of videos on YouTube of Jeep guys replacing all the battery cables with bigger ones to get better current flow from the alternator to the battery and to the starter. They also replace all the ground cables as well. Just wanted to know if any one has ever done this and where I could find a cable kit and where to find a h/o alternator?

You have a 125 amp alternator now I believe (06 H3). Alphas had 145 amp.
It is always a good idea to upgrade the power and ground wires coming from the alternator and battery. You will need to buy a pneumatic crimper, crimps and the appropriate length of power and ground wires of your choice.
Never seen a kit with all of the wires with specific lengths for an H3.

If you think you need more amp output (see below). FYI, heat will kill a high-output alternator quickly and under hood temps on an H3/H3T are pretty high.

Thank you for the info I have already been pricing the stuff to build my own cables. I am surprised they don’t have any kits. I the Alpha alternator should be big enough the only add on I have is an aftermarket stereo with some subs.

Good thing is, you are not driving a Jeep so there is no need to do the goofy Jeep thing.
