I am also a noob. I recently blew my transfer case. I've been looking for replacements as my original has a hole in it so I need a whole new unit. I was curious if you could transfer a case from a 2007 Colorado to a 2007 H3 adventure package? Question 2 is what is the difference between NR4 option and NR6 option? The Colorado case is by far cheaper then the H3 case. The Colorado T case I found was priced at $180 no option listed. The h3 Tcase NR4 option for $800 and the NR6 option is $1100.
Thanks Doc and Tainter. I went to the stealer and got build sheet to determine the correct tcase. Build says NR4 and thats what is going back into the truck. Thanks for advice all.
Another question. Without having removed is there a way to get part number from another source on truck? I have no location as yet to put Ol Whitey to pull part. I'm thinking I can remove splates and pull unit myself rather then go to shop or dealer. Its winter here so need shelter for this, lol.

NO idea what the heck you are asking in your 1st question.
T-case can be R&R'd in a garage with 2 strong people and simple tools as long as no broken bolts due to rust show up to play...

Just to clarify; if your build sheet says NR4, then your H3 does not have the Adventure package.
Open glove box, look down on the right, outside of the pocket, and you will find a label titled "SERVICE PARTS IDENTIFICATION DO NOT REMOVE"
Once you find it, you will see the RPO codes.
The Adventure Package will include ALL of the following:
G94
ZM6
NZZ
NR6
QLB
XLB
YLB
ZLB
