High beams - do you use them?
ya they are 12pt. IT's a really big socket, I had to buy one too. I was pissed cuz it was like 12$ I think. Lots of people think the bolts are further forward than they really are. But thats just were the bars end, mid-door. Good luck! Send pics!
wow my typing is bad on my smartphone...damn touchscreens.
here is that video I mentioned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRIsmboMwDs
My bolts are 6pt???? I'll have to wait until tonight so I can get my headlight measurements etc. The socket I bought at Sear's was only 6.99 on sale lol.

ok - 79" away from my garage door (measured from center of front bumper to door)...the low beams (center of light) is approx. 37.5" high. High beams are approx. 40" high. I will measure again tomorrow night after I crank my torsion bars.
I did notice that my driver side REAR measures 23.5" and the passengar side REAR measures 25". I am going to try and pull her into the garage on more level ground. Is it important to have a half a tank of gas and it that why the rear is off some??? Should I wait for a half a tank or lower before leveling? If I have to level the rear, I assume they are the same size bolt?

You cant level the rear lol. But these HUMMER's ALWAYS, ALWAYS come lop sided like that. It's rather irritating. I wouldn't worry too much. It's just the nature of these beasts. Just make sure the fronts are measured perfectly, and aren't fully cranked and make sure they aren't higher than the front.
Leveled her up today:
Driver side cranked 7 times to 23"
Passenger side cranked 4 times to 23"
I have a full tank of gas so I will check again at a half tank then at empty to see what the differences are.
Is 23" too high and should I go back to 22.5"?

I wouldn't put a lot of miles on it until you get the front end lined up. Every time you adjust up or down you need to realign the frt. end. When I leveled mine I went to 25, liked the look and thought I was going to put a bumper and winch on within a couple weeks so I left it that high thinking it would settle down with the extra weight. The bumper/winch deal fell through and I brought it back down to 23.5, went back to have alignment checked and it was way off. Made a lot more difference than I thought it would.
Is it normal to crank one side 7 turns and the other 4 turns? Seems odd to me? Also, will a full tank really throw it off? I was thinking about leaving it and driving it from full tank to half and re-measuring again to see if I am still at 23" in the front.
I dunno, I am also having reservations and thinking about bringing each back to where it was. If I tow alot should I consider that too?
