Hi please help identify what the silver cover is under hummmer?

The cover is not leaking, your Rear Main could be, or it is leaking forward and blowing back. That is a mess under there.
Leak diagnosis step one: Degrease and power wash/rinse, repeat if necessary, let dry.
Step two: Start and LOOK for where it is coming from.
