Smile Help!!

I'm new here and I've worked on many vehicles as a State Certified Inspection mechanic over the years. This was when cars and trucks were easy to work on.
I'm in the process of replacing both rear ABS/Traction sensors on my 2006 Hummer H 3. Is the a way to clear or reset the ABS, Traction and Stabilizer Lights without having to use a Coder.
I heard by disconnecting the negative posts on the battery will do it, but I want to be certain. Thanks for any information someone out there may have that will help. JimL.

Hello and welcome to HF. I MOVED your thread to the correct location for all H3 Tech questions = H3 Section. If you read before you post anything you would have seen the sticky thread at the top indicating the New Member Section is NOT for Tech questions.

Disconnecting battery cables on late model GM vehicles (includes all H3 & H3Ts) does NOTHING, all data for the last 300 ignition cycles is stored on flash based memory, power or no power. To see and clear ABS codes in memory, you need a scanner.
