Find the right Kelvin!
5240k is the brightest white.
Make sure your lens are clean and install:

Xenon 5000k-5500k
h13 5000k

Maybe the car companies have just improved their halogen headlight housing design over the years. (?)

All this being said, the Headlight Revolution SV.4 is a remarkable bulb and much R &D has been put into it to create a better light output with little dazzle.
AS you know the H13 is a dual element bulb and the Headlight Revolution SV.4 addresses this better than cheap bulbs.

Headlight Revolution is a solid company and if you bought the SV.4 (H13) bulb and you hated it, you can return it to them.
Anthony was a guy I dealt with at that company and he was very good with all my questions and concerns.
I currently run two SV.4 (H7) bulbs in my other vehicle and the light pattern is very good, I get NO flashing from other cars
Hope this helps . . . some?

One last thing, I believe the dual element bulb headlight housing is slowly disappearing from cars and trucks.
I see more dedicated low beam and high beam housings than in years past, because they can get better light to the road with a
separate low/high beam housing set up
wfturner, on the trucks you installed the aftermarket Jeep headlights on, how do they compare with the STARR HIDs?

I probably did not explain that well in that earlier post.
I have stayed with the STARR HID's and they have preformed well over the 11+ years I have had them.
Only thing I have changed is the bulbs. I upgraded them to some "Off Road" OSRAM bulbs and they are bright, over 3500 lumens and a higher kelvin temp, about 5700K

There is a video online of the Jeep 7" LED headlights that are adaptable to the H3 but I have no knowledge of how they preform.
I will try to find that video and you can decide for yourself on your new project H3T

Thanks as always. I had the STARR HID headlights even for this new build but some asshat backed into me last year and broke them. I decided to go with the HID retrofit headlights because I couldn't find anymore STARRs and the output is impressive. I just don't like the look of them as much as I like the Jeep retrofits with the LasedDesigns adapters, so I was thinking of selling these and switching.

Found one in black if it's worth $50 extra for you to not have to paint.

Click the link these look like they go in the lower Bumper Grill or in the top grill? Going to find a way to stuff a winch in the lower one but if its the top one its a cool option for sure. I purchased this hummer to be an off road toy not really a daily rig. but we live in the sticks and man its dark out here at night and these headlights suck!

They might interfere with a front mounted winch?? Here's a pic of them on my H3. You can decide.

So, I went ahead and ordered LED bulbs from Headlight Revolution.

SUMMARY: I am happy with them, and they are an improvement, but they aren't a "blow you away" improvement. The color of the light is the biggest improvement, and I believe it increases the amount of light returning to your eyes.

DETAILS:
I ordered the GTR Lighting Ultra 2.0. These are not the cheapest, but after talking with a representative at HR I went with these. Install was very straight forward. The lights did need to be "clocked" for the Hummer (ensuring that the LED module was vertical after installation - two set screws), but otherwise a simple "pull out the old bulbs, install the new bulbs". This instructions say that the bulbs are pre-set for most vehicles, but the Hummer is obviously not "most vehicles" in this case. Still, not a huge deal.
My old bulbs were Phillips brand, and honestly should have been replaced anyway (so keep that in mind when reviewing the changes).
When I initially turned on the new lights, I quickly noticed the light color change (very white compared to my old), but honestly was not impressed with amount of light, or at least the amount of light I perceived. It seemed to be comparable to the old lights in terms of "brightness".
I took it for a quick drive on a dark road, and that's when I noticed that either 1) the light spread side to side was greater than the old lights, or 2) the amount of light coming back to me side to side was greater. Either way, I could see a GREAT more distance and detail off to the sides of the road, which is exactly what I felt was missing.
After I took the pictures below, I adjusted my right headlight per the owners manual, as it was sitting quite a bit lower than the left (it was bottomed out actually). However, now I wonder if I should have turned my brights on to perform this procedure, as when I turn the brights on now, the light is near horizontal, and I lose a ton of light on the road itself.

OVERALL:
I am happy with the lights, and would buy again. Certainly a big improvement over by old bulbs, even if my initial impression was less than stellar. I do notice a shadow off to the right just above the hood when driving that I didn't notice before, but seeing as how close the patterns of light are between the two bulbs, I'm certain this shadow was there with the old bulbs, but I just couldn't notice it. Finally, with my old bulbs, I would regularly drive with both my headlights and my fog lights on, to try to get more light. Now, I hardly notice when I turn on my fog lights, so they are staying off. Maybe I need LED fog lights now!!

I like the warmth (perceived any who) of the old Philips bulbs.

Me too . . .
Those GTR 2.0 bulbs are between 5500K and 6000K.
I don't know why his pictures make them look so blueish
