H3T 3.7L Power Steering pump scarce
I do not know of any reason whatsoever why the power steering pump would be different on an I5 H3T than an I5 H3? Generally, from the back of the front doors forward, they are the same trucks.
That was my thinking Doc. One of their sales pitches on the H3T was that all the pick-ups were fitted with the higher volume V8 power steering pump (with I5 brackets and reservoir) for hauling. Makes the 5 cylinder T's special power steering pump double the price of the H3 and rare.
My problem turned out to be a seized u-joint on the intermediate steering shaft that made it feel like I was loosing power assist. My pump is fine for now.
