Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
My oldest granddaughter is driving, talk about feeling my age lol.
yes it would be easy to put it back, i was shocked how simple it was, i was totally prepared to take a 5lb sledge to it. It only took me about 20 mins to swap.
Thanks a million hummerz, i got them apart and it was amazingly simple, the outside plastic cover has a phillips screw and one of those hateful clips, then under that is a single T45 star bolt, then popped the plastic cover in between the seats and removed the 15mm bolt and apart came the seats.
Cleaned out the garage today and finally got to my rear seats. 5 minutes to take apart, & reinstall the 15mm nut to secure the 40 to the frame. There's also a loom attached to rear seats that hold the seat belt buckle. Now I have the 40 mounted with 2 buckles(1 hidden under rear cover) since they are riveted to the frame.

nice! Yea i was surprised at how easy it is to separate them or even remove them. I'm not sure why people on youtube or FB said it was impossible, im guessing they never tried it lol.
got my rear covers all redone and took the carpet out and washed clean and dyed black. Only thing left to do is drill and tap threaded holes thru the centercaps and put allen head screws in them to deter thieves

It only takes 3 minutes to remove the 40 with the 60 out of the way, for large loads.
