I've used K&N filters in everything, never had a dirty MAF problem.

However, since we did some testing of filters, I have been running an AFE Pro Dry-S in my own truck which is a washable synthetic filter element. They make a quality filter, I've seen them in many different customer vehicles and have been impressed.

Regarding the PCMofNC Efan conversion, with anything 2008+ they reprogram your PCM (patch in) a fan control then you wire the fan to specific pins under your fuse box. Nothing says you MUST do that.

On my 2007 my fan is controlled by a temp sensor in a CNC fitting spliced into the lower radiator hose. I have watched it on the scan gauge, when the temp hits about 204F the fan comes on and pull it down to 193F and shuts off.

Here is a look from an old thread. https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...version-32647/

just wondering, that's a 4 cylinder isn't it?

I had a 97 Supra. Singled, AEM, 2-3 Fuel maps, Boost controllers, turbo timers, HKS, No cat, 4" exhaust, 2 Fuel pumps, Larger injectors and everything else you could stuff in that thing. Did not go into the engine because the engine is already manufactured perfectly. I had 646 whp. That was sometime ago.....you must have spent plenty to achieve that hp. Congrats on the build

I was trying to find the throttle body that someone was talking about earlier and I emailed James I think was his name and I never got a respond. Do we even bother looking at the throttle bodies?
