That is the route I ended up going. I called about 20 other online stores and GM dealers and nobody had it or could get it. Backordered until March, but something tells me they're just not making them anymore...

Hi Doc - I did have this done. The whole thing was working properly for a few days, and then went back to not working. I calibrated again, and same result. More often than not the temp part works fine, but the mode does not. First world problem, but I just want it fixed and working properly. I've spent too much time and money keeping this H3 looking and running as close to new as possible since we bought it in December, 2006 - and I'd like it to stay that way.

From Quirkparts, 80bucks more, yet you will receive a new oe replacement. Post an update when you replace.

I got it from them through ebay. It has shipped already, so hopefully I will have it installed in a few days. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Yep. What Hummerz said. What I found is that damn near all of these sites show things as in-stock, assuming they can get them from GM.

I'm having the same issue. I replaced the three actuators and it was working fine for a few days. Can you please update us when you get the part and install it?

i will let you know ASAP. The part is out for delivery now, so hopefully I’ll get it installed this afternoon some time.
