Hello Hummer Forum...
So my 2006 H3 front end starts to humm at about 30 MPH. When I turn a corner to the right, it goes away, almost completely. Sounds like a passenger side wheel bearing huh ? So I replaced the bearing assembly on the passenger side thinking, sounds logical. I have done many in my life with many vehicles. Not this time...still have the noise.
Reading through many pages on this forum, I don't see anything like this. Most are clunks or low speed issues, and not my case.
I'm thinking UV joint on the front of the driveshaft, or possibly CV ? Any suggestions or obvious things you may have come across ? The kicker is that the noise goes away when turning to the right. Must be something on that side when the load/weight is less is what I'm thinking...

check your front differential carrier body bushings. maybe they are worn and transferring the road noise and making a right turn maybe unloads them

 

Mechanics stethoscope. Lift entire vehicle and properly secure. Spin the wheels and listen with a stethoscope.
