H3 blower motor not working
Hi all. I'm new on here and have read most post regarding faulty wire harness and resistor. I replaced both harness and resis and blower still is not working on any setting... Any suggestions on hat it could be now?
Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a revised harness part for the HVAC controls, that is what the recall is for. It does not include the blower motor itself, which could independently fail and need to be replaced.

Ok just replaced blower motor and still not working. So far have replaced everything with the exception of control panel. Could it be the hvac control panel?? Also weird thing is when I put volt meter on blower motor leads is reads 12.4v but will not spin up motor. Hook motor directly to a 12v battery it fires right up. This is getting very frustrating..
Check your basics. Happythree is right. Check for power and ground. Check your fuses. I believe there is also a relay near the resistor for the blower. I think this only turns on in the high position. Don't have a wiring diagram handy to help out more. The recall is for the wires burning up at the plug for the resistor. This may also be a problem.
Thanks guys! Any suggestions on how to trace open ground wire? One thing i did notice is 12V is present at blower moter plug at lower speeds, but not on high (meter goes to zero..).. Like i said earlier, even with the 12V at the connector it will not run blower motor... May just have to take it to dealer at this point.
you should be looking at a wiring diagram. not hard to trace a connection problem.
to test, you can ground any contact on the resistor connector. thats what the switch does.
