Thank you, what you explained is exactly what I felt. And that makes sense because the shifting
seemed very smooth.

I like the truck and the color, and the price.

Thanks again

H3s have a Transmission, Transfer Case, front and rear drive shaft, front and rear differentials, and front half shafts. When you let off the gas, all that unloads torque and as it does you can feel/sense a minor clunk, that goes away as soon as you step on the gas to apply torque load again. I have owned maybe 18-20 4X4 GM trucks and every one of them did that from brand new until I sold them.

If it is more than a very minor clunk, could be U Joints need to be replaced, but you would hear those when shifting from drive to reverse as well and could feel the play by getting underneath and twist the drive shafts back and forth.

H3's over 200K miles selling for over $10k. Hummer H3 493 listings
People ask ridiculous numbers in LISTINGS, the sale price is much different. However, your point is well taken.

There was a clown last week on ebay asking like $18.5K for a 2006 with rebuilt Jasper motor. Never gonna happen, nobody that dumb with a wallet out there.

Here's the link to my listing for them I'm in Boise, ID. I can make boxes for them and get a shipping quote, too. Let me know! Keep us updated on your purchase decision (:

-Did you check and see how much 4 new tires cost?
Cheap H3's usually need $$$$ in repairs.
