Default Gosh dang clicking noise

I have a 2006 Hummer H3 that is clicking when I go on drive and gets louder as I ascend somewhere like a elevated road or hill. At first I thought it was the cv axle. I swapped the one on the driver side with a new AC Delco and the noise is still going on. It did fixed one of the issue however, the car used to creak when you put your weight on it on the driver side (that's why I thought the problem was the driver side in the first place.) Before I go change the cv axle on the passenger side what are the other potential source of the clicking noise when I drive?

I did check inside the front differential and it's in good shape with no metal shards.

Currently at 176000 miles

I have had bad wheel bearings click and I have had them squeak. I can't say that is what it is without being there and hearing it but.. it is worth a look at them.

Put it all on four jackstands.

Put it in D, turn it, have a helper locate the issue.
