Does anyone know of a source for a Front Mounted Receiver Hitch for a 2006 H3?

Which comes up with...nada. I'm gonna assume that the OP already did a Google search, came up empty, and came here to see if anyone knows of one.

To the OP; They are available for the H2, but I've never seen one for the H3. Good luck with your search. Let us all know if you find one, but I think it will have to be custom. I've often thought about trying to fabricate/install one behind the front license plate, but inserting a hitch pin would be difficult.

 

There are a bunch per the link by HH. Scroll and look. The ones like this bolt between the front frame ends and you have to mod the bumper/front skid to make it work.







Must be some kind of engineer thing, brain crammed with so much date and specific overthinking, can't see the forest through the trees..

It seems as though Curt may have discontinued this product at some time in its life cycle. It is still out there you may just have to dig deep for it.

 

Further research shows the CU31221 (which is listed as applicable to Canyon, Colorado)

I cannot guarantee that this will fit without some modifications. But seeing's how the frame shares similar attributes you may very well be able with proper welding and such be able to.

 

Wanted to update this for future H3 owners looking at this thread. Here is what could ostensibly be the very solution necessary for front hitch assemblies for our sad bastard forgotten vehicles LOL! Mod's will be needed.
