Default Front end clunk sound

Hey Folks, any help would be appreciated...
When I am turning my steering wheel sharp, close to the max, like when backing out of garage or turning into a parking spot, I get this clunk sound in my front end. I already changed the lower control arm on the passenger side- but it didn't solve the problem.
This issue has been happening for over two years and has only gotten slightly worse.
No shimmy's, no steering issues at normal speeds. Only the very slow speed sharp turn clunk as described.
California H3, 2006, auto, inline 5 cylinder, garaged its whole life, not a spec of rust. 145Kmiles.

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks

Jack up both front tires (chock the rears both sides) have someone turn the wheel while you safely look and listen for the mystery clunk. Check all the steering as well as the front diff bushings (3 total).

X2 what Tainter said.

I'm guessing front Diff bushing. Only other thing it could be is ball joint(s) and you replaced one lower A Arm so I assume that ball joint is new?

Yes on the ball joint. It was built into the lower control arm

Thanks for the info on the front differential bushing(s). I will definitely look into this. This has been a fantastic vehicle, and while I thought about replacing it with something newer- I decided to drive it til it's dead. As my friends Dad always said, the best vehicle out there is the one that is paid for and runs well. This H3 checks both boxes :-)

OK, that is one of four. The Uppers have non-serviceable ball joints and they do wear out ... then you have to replace the Upper A Arm if that is the issue.

Good luck
