Default Engine Tick

I have a 2006 H3 243k miles. Yesterday when I was driving it, it began a hard tick sounds like from the front part of the engine. It never did it before but the oil pressure light is on, I’ve replaced both the sensor and the pigtail just to see if it helps I have the oil pressure gauge ordered and waiting to come in. It has a new VVT, camshaft sensor, and crankshaft sensor. I don’t want to keep throwing money at it without getting to the main issue in another forum a guy suggested the timing chain tensioner but I would like second opinions before I run with that. The oil level is good, it recently had an oil change and is running Lucas with mobile 1. I tried checking the most obvious before getting deeper. Any suggestions?
i couldn’t upload the video due to size but it let me create a link on iCloud if hearing it would better help. Thanks!

Welcome. Scan it and post any code(s).

You do not need an oil pressure gauge, the light is reporting the condition.

You already threw parts at it without a diagnosis. Is the Lucas oil something new to this H3, or has it been running it for a while?

Prior to this when I scanned it was pulling P0014 so I pulled the VVT and replaced it and that resolved that scan and it’s not pulling any codes now with the exception of traction control failure. When I was driving it I was pushing 55-60 and the RPMS rapidly shot through the roof without it actually gaining speed.

I meant an oil pressure tester to check the actual pressure, do you happen to know the fitting for the port? I’ve seen M16x2 and M16x1.5 I don’t want to mess up the port testing with the wrong size.

The Lucas is something I add to every oil change but I know the owner before me didn’t keep the vehicle in the best of maintenance from what I can tell.

The Oil Pressure switch is just above the oil filter and I do recall it as M16x1.5.

That right it is, I just couldn’t pinpoint the threading size. If the top internal part was damaged (rockers, pins, etc) would that typical trigger a code? Same with timing chain? I’ve always worked on older vehicles..

The kit came in the M16x1.5 doesn’t fit. I got the M16x2.0 fitting ordered. Those are few and far between.

This is what it pulled at idle. It was bouncing around that focal point.

This is the RPM at the psi it was pulling at idle.

Idle HIGH /LOW fuel. Btw, normal oil pressure at idle should be somewhere between 20 to 30 PSI.
Idle should be around 600rpms and fuel level should never go below 1/4!

Once it got warmed up with the temp gauge halfway PSI dropped to around 12 but the RPMs stayed the same. It’s sitting a little above a quarter, I’ve been to scared to drive with the tick I didn’t want to risk damaging anything internally. So it sounds like it needs a new oil pump, would that also affect RPMs?
