Over the past couple years I’ve had more electrical issues show up and I’m not sure how to figure out what the issue is so I can fix it. Electrical is not something I have much experience with.
My battery started to die when I hadn’t driven it in awhile, like something was pulling power even when it was just sitting. So I would charge the battery and it seemed like every time a new issue showed up. I have since gotten a new battery and things have been good, but the issues still remain.
• Passenger back seat window doesn’t work from any switch. Originally thought it was the motor so replaced it and it still didn’t work.
• Key fob no longer works. Have a remote start that I cannot use anymore and have to manually lock and unlock the doors now.
• At one point, the driver window wouldn’t work but after the battery died and was charged again, that window started working again.
• Battery no longer dies, I think my UltraGauge was pulling power when sitting so I no longer leave it plugged in.
Any advice on what I can fix to make the window and the fob work again?
If you are still trying to use the Crappy Azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors, STOP and replace with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand.
If you have a remote start that is an aftermarket add on that will need to be looked at by you, 07s never came with remote start from the factory. Replace the battery in the fobs, check the wiring for the aftermarket set up.
Check the door harness to the back seat window and its connector to the body harness.
Thank you for the tips. I did change out the battery connectors awhile back. The remote start is aftermarket, but was already installed when I got the vehicle. I believe it was all professionally installed but honestly don’t know for sure.
If your driver door lock switch has a short in it, that could be your cause. Locks are hot at all times. Here are the schematics for the door locks and windows.
Also, if the driver lock and window switch has problems, it could be preventing it from sending power to the other doors.

We have an original FOB that never did work with our recent purchase of this vehicle.
Door locks and drivers window has had off and on failure and cured by disconnecting the battery ground terminal for a few to reset. Seems that the BCM needs a fully charged battery at all times and I do mean fully charged, but this is only an uneducated guess from the way it acts on occasion. Leaving it outside in this tropical heat doesn't help any, either, but garaged and for running it most every day, does!
Disconnect the battery then clean the driver and right rear passenger door switch connectors using CRC contact cleaner (unplug, spray each side, wait till it dries, reconnect). Do the same at the BCM and the adjacent wire harness connector.
Use a multimeter to check the ground continuity from the right rear window switch. If its open or has high resistance then clean the grounds behind the right rear quarter panel near the wheel (look for corrosion, unstack ground rings spray with CRC, restack and retighten).
Reconnect the battery and test to see if your problems are resolved.
