Engineering tries to commonize parts whenever possible to keep manufacturing costs down. Check to see if one of your rear doors, (that are not used as often), is the same part and can be swapped for the front.

Fronts are stamped 434 (LF/RF) rears (435 LR/RR).

Thank you by the way for hanging in there with me its appreciated. Man some times the vendors don't make this easy.
I checked my '07 (08/06 production date) and they are indeed stamped 434 fronts and 435 rears. 1-3/4" on center mount(front & rear). The rears extend 1/2" further from the body mount to the door shell. Rear to front swap looks like it would work, as long as the extra extension opening clears fender/jamb and the wiring harness loom doesn't pull out from the door.

Not sure if you have tried looking at a pick a part option, but it was really helpful when I needed to replace the discontinued RKE antenna wire on my 2008 that was severed in half. There are 2 in the closest yard to me here in Houston, Tx both listed as 2006 models. https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/inve...?search=hummer

Door check came just now in USPS. It is the very 1st run 434.

Came with hinges too boot. Don't really have need for them at moment but always nice.

Looks good, clean/grease it, & you're good to go.

Put in an oil bath last night. I'll go clean it today and install.
I believe the original door check failed because the little plastic piece in the unit failed. I was looking at this replacement one and that caught my attention, the plastic black piece in one of the rollers.

As they get older stuff like this is going to turn into unobtanium.
