clunking noise when key is turned on?

Default clunking noise when key is turned on?
Has anyone experienced the sound under their hood on driver side of engine, making a clunking type sound when ignition switch is turned on? is this normal? i recorded the sound if anyone needs to hear it.

I'm pretty sure the starter is located on driver's side.

It always helps when you give us the model year, motor and any packages that are on your vehicle. Everything is just a guess without at least that info.
