Default Chime for lights

Ok, so for the third time, my battery has gone dead, because I failed to turn the lights off, because the chime for the lights being on, is not working. Does anyone know if it is a fuse or?

Does the H3 not have an automatic position th where the light go off once you take the key out? The H2 and all other vehicles I have owned the last 10 years had this

yeah, they do, but like today when because of the fog, visibility was like maybe 100 feet, i needed them on during the day...and you have to manually turn them on in that case...

Turn it to the Daytime running light setting. Your lights will be on all the time you are driving and shut off when you turn the hummer off after about 30 seconds. That's what we leave it on. You never have to worry about shutting them off again. Plus it's good practice to have them on all the time anyway. Studies have shown that less accidents occur when daytime running lights are used, and some countries have made it mandatory that new vehicles only use daytime running lights. Just leave it in the auto position.

Do you have an aftermarket radio installed?

If you're not hearing any chimes, chances are good that your driver-side door speaker has crapped out.
