brand new transfer case fluid is pink!
I will but it has been 95 degrees with no rain. I am the only one driving it and it has not been off road at all. Maybe it is getting condensation but that seems like a lot in a hurry?
Forgot, reinstall the drain plug, proper torque, before you remove fill to add fluid, take your garden hose and blast the tc all away around soak it good. Then pull the drain plug again and see what comes out.
Now I know why this was such a steal.
front driveshaft CV is worn out. I got the shaft out and finally got the cv joint off and the driveshaft splines are worn.
Apparently OEM shafts are on BO nationwide and I have heard terrible reviews on the cheap ones.
I might take it to a machine shop and see if they can repair the splines on the original.

How does the front driveshaft cause fluid intrusion to the tc?

No one said it did but while I was under there looking for the vent I noticed the worn out cv joint. After I pulled it out and apart I discovered the worn splines on the driveshaft.
I also noticed that the tc vent tube was missing so I replaced it and flushed and refilled the tc.
