I drove my H3 to town 35 miles away, when I was heading home, my timing chain, or lifter started making louder noise than usual. So I drove slower heading home. I came to a big hill, the H3 kicked down in a lower gear in cruise control, turn up 5500 before I could hit the brake to kick cruise out. I heard a slap, then engine light came on, red oil light came on, blown engine, looks like a round shaft out of the side of the block. Any one have a 3.7 short block for sale? 09 h3. Or where is a good company to buy a 3.7? Thank you Randy

 

"cam out of the side of the block"? Interested to see some pictures Randy. Btw, I have a perfect running 3.7 with 91k miles, you can take the whole engine for $15k.

 

it wasn't the cam, it's a shaft up about middle ways in the block. Thanks your offer on your engine, I can a whole hummer with engine for that much.

 

Got any pics of the "middle shaft" that went through Randy?
