The other day I noticed that my engine is making a noise. It sounds as if I have a valve tap. I only have 16, 000 miles on it. Yes the oil level is fine, I have it changed every 3, 000 miles and I use RP oil. Oh, it's an 06 H2.

 

Does it do it all the time, or just when you first start it?

It sound s like a lifter tap constatly. I don't here it when I'm driving, but I got out the other day to drop off some mail at the post office and when I got out I could here the tapping.

 

What does your belt look like?? Have you heard it with the A/C off??
