Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I will be replacing all three blend door actuators in my 2007 H3. I found that the AC side (closest to firewall) works 'when it wants', the other one next to it that is suppose to work with it was found unplugged. Also found unplugged was the dash selector actuator on top. I plugged in the two that I found unplugged and they just clicked, and that was the reason for being unplugged. And I wondered why the heater wasn't blowing hot or warm air. The blower blows like crazy and works great on all speeds, and the AC works like a charm. Dash selector don't work and I spose the heater door is not opening because of bad actuator worm gear. Yes, fresh heater hoses and Delco antifreeze installed and no blockage at all, even the heater core, System is clean as a whistle.
QUESTION IS SIMPLE>>> On the 2007 Hummer H3, ARE ALL THREE actuators identical??? When I place an order, I just order three of them right, and then place them in their proper position?
Thanks, Scott

The reason I ask is one fella that did a YouTube video is asked if all three actuators are identical and he says yes. Now I find another YouTube video that states the TOP actuator is different than the bottom two.

I'm gonna crawl under there and look for that 4th one. I spose it works in conjunction with the AC selector. I spose it moves simultaneously as when the other two on the drivers side move.

4th 1 is air-recirculation. The question is why you have 3 dead actuators? My '07 all 4 assembly line installed back in '06 and still working perfectly.
Did you test them for operation dismounted? Any signs of rodent intrusion under the dash? Having 3 dead makes 1 wonder if there's an obstruction inside the case?

I actually have TWO dead actuators. The top one and the bottom one closest to the radio. The one closest the firewall seems to work when it wants or is hesitant while playing with the control ****. Just decided to replace it also because you know how luck may have it. Don't want to go under there again. I didn't realize the two that ended up clicking when plugged in, were unplugged all this time and now I know why. As for the RE circulation button, when I was trying for heat, I had the recirculation button off and got neutral air but no hot air. When I pressed the recirculation button and it lit up, I got cold air conditioning type air even though the selector was on high heat. I guess that Actuator really does work then, now that I know what it is. I always recirculate because I don't want to smell outside nasty air. You know them garbage trucks are foul to follow.....
As far as the condition of the two and nearly three actuators that either don't work or are inconsistent, I would say the previous owner was a lazy *** and probably used the Hummer to pull a trailer for his construction jobs and figured he'd rather unplug them than to fix them or listen to them nasty worm gears clicking. I don't know, but, I've had ALL rotors, calipers, and shoes replaced. all new AC components installed, and recently all new heater hoses replaced. I paid $7,000 for the vehicle and so far paid $4,000 in the restoration process, and $1,600 for wheels and tires and couldn't be happier! Just glad a good friend of mine owns his own automotive shop a mile from me. After I deal with cleaning and reassembling the BCM, getting the tires programmed and my new remotes programmed, I'm finished. Almost there!! These must be very well undercoated against rust because I have absolutely no rust on the body, outside, inside, or anywhere in-between. The frame components up front are the rusty areas...
