Default belt tensioner woes

08 Hummer H3 60k miles belt tensioner pulley was rubbing against the engine making a grinding noise which increased over time.
I changed the belt tensioner assembly, and it's still doing the same thing...(rubbing against the engine and making a grinding noise).
I would have thought that this would have solved it, but I am stumped.

It's #7 in the pic. There are wear marks on the tensioner pulley and on the block.

Check all pulleys for lateral movement.

This! Likely worn bushing on tensioner or bent tensioner or bent fixing bolt.

Personally, I prefer the Belt Tensioner Blues. Woes are OK, but Blues are hard to beat.
