Default BCM factory reset? Cost

Has anyone had a factory reset completed at a GM dealership on their H3? Took my 08' Alpha in because I bought a new BCM and required programming. Received the car back without signal lights no I/P display lights, and fog lights flashed when turned on when I drove it home that night. Next morning pulled the ground battery cable maybe it would reset the security system . Unsuccessful, I had 08' Alpha towed back to Dealership. Told tech needed more time troubleshooting, in reality spent little time with vehicle & tech had some reason to leave early (holiday's) so minimal work completed. Brought car back home & found battery voltage at 9.75 volts, tech had not even check the basics. Re-installed old BCM. Before new BCM replaced SRS light illuminated and interior light did not function when any doors opened. Tomorrow will tow back to dealership demand a Factory rest from GM. Lost confidence on tech working on my H3. Told a call to GM corporate will need to be made for the factory reset & a minimal fee of 200.00 with be incurred. Just want my H3 back with old BCM & be able to drive it. Now it doesn't start. I/P display works but NOTHING happens.. any thoughts?

Are you still using the crappy OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? If so, change them ASAP to a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand. #1 first mod to do to every H3/H3T, to fix a known electrical Gremlin maker.

No, I read all the traffic on OEM battery cable connectors and replaced them.
.
This is an issue with programming a new BCM successfully, cost, and competent tech's.
.
I live in Templeton, Ca. between Los Angeles and San Fransciso 30 miles from the coast. Limited Hummer resources.
.
Thanks for the reply.

there are many modules you can reset with a tech2 but there is not a factory reset option. check the ground to the BCM or its pins maybe disturbing it something got loose or broken/ frayed.

Looking for a local Hummer H3 expert with the proper tools to program my NEW BCM module or get my old one working? Anyone live in this area with this expertise? Templeton Ca. 93465 area. Security system is not allowing car to start.. I have a Triple AAA premium membership and can tow H3 250 miles without being charged. Will to travel at this point..
.
No loose wires everything worked except IP displaying SRS light and interior doors lights did not work with old BCM. Was able to drive the H3 normally..

An update to this post, I contacted the dealership after the Customer Service manager left a message on my cell phone regarding the status of my 08' H3. In a nut shell, they were returning the vehicle back to me including $208.00 charged for attempting to program a new BCM. I met the Dealership manager and he repeated the message left on my cell. I told him the vehicle was junk to me, as I could NOT start the vehicle. I had no use for it. I proposed the use of their laptop, scanner or what ever equipment his tech's were using to communicate with my H3 since I did not own the equipment. If I could use there equipment, I could figure out how to get my H3 to communicate with the equipment. He agreed. Three hours later, I figure out how to use their laptop and their proprietary software, I got the Security system to function and recognize my H3. It ran once its credentials were recognized. Unfortunately, that evening I have not tried the HVAC system, as it is not responding as are other items: passenger side window in the downward direction (only from the Driver's side control), it does function from the passenger side control. Interior courtesy light do not work when any door is opened or closed. Courtesy light ON/OFF does not work on the Headlight module. I will contact Dealership for use of the laptop and proprietary software soon.

I don't understand; the dealership is saying they won't work on it...but they will let you use their computer and proprietary software? You need to go to a different dealer. ANY Chevy dealer should be able to work on your Hummer.

Do you have a sunroof? I think you may have issues in the BCM harness if it ever got wet???
