Window Sticker for anyone curious. 5GTEN13L798109405
Just to recap:
2009 Hummer H3 Alpha (pics above), 145k miles or so, two owners (father/son), no body shop/accident work, regular maintenance (according to owner's manual) up to 100K mi, all equipment stock per window sticker, running boards may need part #19170610 (step pad) due to heat cracking them (I took them off but can ship inside the vehicle, prob better to leave off for shipment).
Known Issues: 5.3L v8 engine (P0300 engine misfire, figure it needs replacement/rebuild, you'll hear the loud knock), leaky transmission oil lines and rear main seal leak, minor wobble per most H3s of driver mirror, very worn KO2 tires (you'll prob want new tires)
Mods: Schwartzy H3 Aux input (in glove box, OEM XM still intact), in-line resistor for AC temperature dial per the forums here
New (< 1yr old): battery, driver side steering rack/pinion, left main catalytic converter, water pump, radiator, lower hose.
If I don't hear back by tmw, I'll shoot yah a message @atvspeed4

Def worth fixing back up. My guess is the stop leak stuff clogged up some tiny oil passages in the crank/rods and it spun a bearing. I've heard of that happening on more than one occasion and is why I will never use a stop leak product in an engine or transmission. A local mechanic would probably swap the engine for less than a grand in labor plus the donor engine costs which could be very cheap if you just went with a 30 day warranted junkyard engine. Or go all out and have one built.... If it were an H3T Alpha instead of an suv I'd be all over it myself.

Got it. Unfortunately, I just contracted a complete house renovation and it will take me 4-6weeks to complete. Interested if still available when I complete the reno.

Good luck and have fun on the house renovation
