Welp somedays it does feel like Mars out there in the dust....

Anywho, Tainter you read my mind.

So 5k firm it is.

someone is going to get a really nice alpha...sad to see it go, but alas it is time to move on...

Wish it was on the east coast we would buy it. Takes us only about a day to swap out motor now in these things

Too far for me too or I would buy it, drop an Alpha 5.3L from a rear-ended H3 and sell it for ???

@TAINTER @atvspeed4 would you be interested in splitting the cost to ship? open to some ideas here...happy to FaceTime etc. for you to get eyes/ears on

Def worth fixing back up. My guess is the stop leak stuff clogged up some tiny oil passages in the crank/rods and it spun a bearing. I've heard of that happening on more than one occasion and is why I will never use a stop leak product in an engine or transmission. A local mechanic would probably swap the engine for less than a grand in labor plus the donor engine costs which could be very cheap if you just went with a 30 day warranted junkyard engine. Or go all out and have one built.... If it were an H3T Alpha instead of an suv I'd be all over it myself.
