Default 2008 Hummer H3 front end binding on tight turns

Hello I have a nice 2008 H3 with 218,000 miles. runs and drives fine on highway and in town unless making a sharp turn like a U turn I get binding of front wheels and steering wheel like in 4 wheel drive. it comes and goes but occasionally i have a very loud clunk in front end pulling away after a tight turn. replaced main front diff bushing on cross member , front drive shaft , cv axles, any thoughts ? No codes and it shifts in and out of 4 wheel low and high without issues. changes fluids from TC and Front Diff looked fine. I an trying to determine most likely next step. Front diff ? transfer case shift issues ? cv axles not OEM ? right and left front diff bushings are worn too. thanks

The Hummer H3 comes with an advanced electronic two-speed Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) system, letting you drive normally in 4WD High on roads, with options to lock the center differential for extra traction in 4WD High Lock (sand, mud) or Low Lock (extreme off-road), plus an optional electronic locking rear differential for serious capability, making it great for varied conditions, unlike typical part-time systems.
This video demonstrates how to operate the 4x4 system on a Hummer H3:

H3s are FT AWD/FWD. They are designed for off road obstacles, which means they can turn much sharper than most which on dry pavement will give the feeling you are describing except for the clunk. With those miles your diffs are likely ripe for a rebuild as they get sloppy when worn. Same with the T Case. Did you use ACDelco Halfshafts or cheap knockoffs? If so, you wasted what you spent to go cheap. Many are too short, none hold up.

Replace all front Diff Bushings. I would look into the TC plastic shift fork issue as well.

sounds weird but when was your last alignment? i recently had a similar issue to what you're experiencing and found my UCA camber nuts had come loose causing a clunk and binding when doing a sharp turn. Might be worth while putting a wrench on the bolts to make sure before dropping $$$ for a diag
