Default 2008 H3 Alpha transmission mount

The stock mount is discontinued any suggestions?

A poly mount is available and apparently that mount is the same part number for the 2008 Sierra and Silverado. Do the stock trans mounts for those trucks fit the Alpha?

I prefer not to get vibration from a poly mount. Has anyone replaced a trans mount?

I bought the I5 mount and the poly mount. Removed the old one and compared the 3. The I5 mount is the same thing. I installed it and haven't had any issues.
The one I used was from NAPA. Returned the Poly mount.
I crawl all over the Midwest and South in 1st or 2nd gear 4LO locked front and rear A LOT with very aggressive and heavy bead locks with 38" tires, 5:13gears.
I put that in to let you know I stress my driveline more than most.

Why did you prefer the NAPA over the poly?

Rubber vs poly. Also cost.

Any input on motor mounts?
Guys with the Silverado swapped to the h3 motor mounts because they were solid rubber.
Will Silverado motor mounts fit the Alpha?

Im aware the drivers side has that plate.

They are not the same part number. Whether they fit or not IDK. You can still get the Alpha Mount for the right side, buy two, remove the plate from the old left side and use that on one for the set.

That does make the most sense.
The H3 alpha mounts work for the 2008 Silverado so the reverse is going to work. They are different because the hummer ones are solid rubber. The sierra and Silverado are gel filled.I was hoping someone used the gel filled ones and could report if they work fine. They’re a 6th of the price.

You plan on any wheeling? Motor torque with suspension flex will eventually spring a leak in fluid filled mounts.
