The only way it was driving was in HiLock. Given the abuse the prior owner(s) put the truck through, I am gonna bet your T Case is trashed, and possibly the Transmission.

When was the last time the T Case fluid was changed? When was the last time the Trans Fluid & Filter were changed?
Yes, will destroy the TC in a matter of time, when driving on pavement, due to the added friction while turning the front wheels. Yet, the front driveshaft is eliminated? Something broke, I'm thinking planetary gear.

thank you very much that might be the case the 4x4 buttons on my dashboard don't light up so I had no clue if it was or not. I'm going to get it checked out..

Ok so here's a update. I just got back to the u.s.a and had time to check it a bit today. I turned it on. put it on drive. both driveshaft spins but loud noise coming from the back differential I'm not sure if its low on fluid or what I'm going to check that tomorrow. Trying to see if that's why my truck won't move on drive..
