Just because you typed in Bold doesn't mean chit. I have never had any AT get beyond 200K before needing a rebuild, most die around 80-125K miles and I do fairly minimal towing. I do not know anybody driving an original AT with 300K on it. Maybe the Easter Bunny, or other lucky loafers driving with feather feet.

I've never had a GM AT fail on any of my rides over 45yrs. Btw the GM 4L60-E requires proper maintenance for longevity!

Vehicle has 207k miles. No present codes, historical code was a bank 1 lean that was resolved when replacing the throttle body. Probably a vacuum leak that taking the hose off and replacing them fixed.

I'm not normally a parts slinger with my own vehicles, but this is a 17 year old vehicle for my 16 year old son and nothing I have replaced is something I wouldn't expect to replace on a vehicle of its age. While they haven't fixed the stalling issue, they do address future reliability and have given him an opportunity to learn his car.

Ground noise in the audio is far from major.

ahh! Sorry, they are only flashing because of the cellphone camera. Not flashing in real life.

Hey, any update on your vehicle? Curious to see if you found a solution or not.

Still in progress. Had some poor weather and sickness in the house. Was able to get the transmission dropped over the weekend.

Finally back at it. Got the rear main seal replaced, flex plate back in, a new torque converter, and transmission put back in.

Took apart the transfer case and saw I had the plastic shift fork and it was not looking good, waiting on the new one to arrive now.
