2007 h3 just bought in jan2019 l have promblem

2007 bought Jan 2019 last truck 1996 lr disco 300k out of it with lots of work I have several promblem with the h3 that I have not seen posted .3 of these were posted and thank you all it worked but I have other promblem not posted .love the truck and very mechanically include but my promblems are water leaks no sunroof water comes in thru the o star attendance and ends up in the rear view mirror ,doors open lite on dash always on have replaced all door jam switches to no avail last but not least driver control window unit window inop fixed thanks to you guys pos to Neg terminal trick now remote no longer works brought to a reprogramming lock Smith now lights go on when bottom is hit but only sets alarm doesn’t lock doors .WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO

Welcome to HF. MOVED this from the New Member Section as it says in a sticky thread at the top.... Not For Tech Questions.

First thing you need to do is stop the water intrusion from the sunroof.... search it here and google it, there is lots of info on that. Search: fix sunroof drains..

Here is the fix thread at HF Finally, a fix for clogged sunroof drain tubes

Then dry it out. When the sunroof leaks down the passenger side A Pillar the BCM can get wet, and/or the harness to the BCM.... causes all kinds of electrical issues. Might need replacement, might be able to dry it out???

If you are still using the crappy azzed OEM battery terminals, those are junk and need to be replaced with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand.
