hey guys love this form I have a 2006 h2 base.
my transmission when out the other day, and I need to know what my options are for replacement, but can’t find anything on this..
question #1 can I use a Chevy Colorado tranny?
question #2 what years are interchangeable?
question #3 what am I looking at to do a manual swap?

 

Do you mean 2006 H3 base, this is the H3 section?

#1 yes...... but the trans pan from anything other than an H3 will not work.
#2 all 2006-2010 H3s use the same Auto Trans.
#3 you would need a bunch of stuff (PCM programming etc...)

Why not rebuild the trans you have with upgraded HD parts, like a Monster Sunshell and other goodies?

 

#1 Not just the pan but the valve body as well! Hard to find so I have two on the shelf. One new OEM I intend to keep and one remanufactured that I would sell.
Doc is right on about rebuilding...... Depending on how far you want to go, it can be built to meet (maybe exceed) GMPP 4L75 specs..
