2006 h3 knocking noise while in park and accelerating.

2006 h3 knocking noise while in park and accelerating.
My 2006 H3 has a knocking noise, it knocks when I give it gas when in park or while I'm driving it giving it gas. Can't figure it out, also has oil stains in front of the engine and by the oil filter, I want to say it might be coming from the timing chain cover, I could be wrong. Any help to where I can start? Thank u

H3 questions all go in the H3 Section. How many Miles on the 06 H3? We cannot hear your "knocking" so more info is needed. Check oil level, check the Transmission Fluid level and quality when at full operating temp and report back.
