Default 06 H3 abs and traction control lights on

I replaced the CV axle on my neighbor's hummer H3 and now the traction control and abs lights are on. The only thing that I disconnected was the abs wire plug located at the upper control arm. The axle came out nicely and the entire job had no problems.

You don't need to disconnect at connector. Important to remove harness hold downs from upper control arm to prevent wiring damage to the sensor. If you replaced the axle with harness hold downs intact, you need to replace the sensor.

The hold downs were already removed by the previous owner.

Whatever, check connector & pins to make sure fully seated. Or you could scan for codes: LF=C0035 & RF=C0040. You didn't post which cv axle you replaced? Bottom line, your cv axle replacement caused damage! **** happens. Now go back and correct!

It was the left side. I've been planning on fixing the problem. This is why I joined this group. I was TRYING to get an idea as to what the problem might be as I'm sure I'm not the only one that this has happened to.
I'll scan for codes once I can get my hands on a scanner. I don't have much experience in this area as I am a BODYMAN by trade. I don't mind trying different things though.

Scan for codes and clean the connectors with spray electronic cleaner.

Thank you Doc. I will grab a scanner from work and see if this works.
